Benjamin "Ben" Simmons (born 20 July 1996) is an Australian basketball player, currently a freshman on the 2015–16 LSU Tigers basketball team. The 208 cm (6 ft 10 in) forward from Melbourne previously attended Box Hill Senior Secondary College and Montverde Academy in Montverde, Florida, and has represented the Australian national team. He is touted as the possible first overall pick in the 2016 NBA draft.
