Bent Sea is a grindcore band created by drummer Dirk Verbeuren (Soilwork, Scarve, Aborted, Phaze I). Band members are Verbeuren (guitar, drums), Sven de Caluwe from Aborted (vocals) and Devin Townsend (bass). Their debut 11 song EP Noistalgia, which was released as a digital download on November 11, 2011 and later on cassette format by Tankcrimes features a guest appearance by guitarist Sylvain Coudret (Soilwork, Scarve). In 2012 Shane Embury replaced Devin Townsend on bass.
