Bewal (Urdu: ﯧﺑﻭﻞ) is a town and Union Council in the eastern part of Gujar Khan Tehsil and to south east from Rawalpindi and Islamabad, Pakistan. Bewal today along with the village of Sui Cheemian only 1 kilometer from Bewal is probably the most wealthy place anywhere in rural Pakistan, with a large proportion of its population being settled in Europe, particularly in the UK.
