Biak Numfor Regency is one of the regencies (kabupaten) in Papua province of Indonesia. It consists of a group of islands (the Biak Islands) at the northern entrance into Cenderawasih Bay, of which the principal ones are Biak and Numfor; the remaining large island within the group, Supiori Island, was split off to form a separate Supiori Regency on 8 January 2004.Biak Numfor Regency covers an area of 2,602 km2.
