Big Self are a Northern Irish rock band who formed in 1980. Their lineup consisted of Bernard Tohill on guitars and vocals, Jim Nicholl on guitars, Pat Mo on bass and vocals and Michael Morris on drums. During the early to mid-late 80's the band were highly praised especially in the UK. However, the band's commercial success never matched their critical success, and they disbanded in 1986.
