William Allan Carroll (born January 19, 1959) is a retired Canadian professional ice hockey Centre. He holds the distinction as the only player in NHL history to win the Stanley Cup with both the Edmonton Oilers and New York Islanders. Carroll was born in Toronto, Ontario, but grew up in Pickering, Ontario.Carroll was drafted in the second round (38th overall) by the New York Islanders in the 1979 NHL Entry Draft from the London Knights of the OHL.
