Bionure is a drug development company founded in 2009 as a spin-off from Hospital Clinic de Barcelona-IDIBAPS and CSIC. The company, with headquarters in Menlo Park, California, is focused on the development of small molecules for the treatment of neuromyelitis optica and acute optic neuritis. Currently, Bionure is developing BN201, which has been granted orphan drug designation by the EMA and the FDA.
