Blochairn (Gaelic: Baile a' Chàirn) is a district in the Scottish city of Glasgow. It is situated north of the River Clyde. Situated astride the main Blochairn Road, nothing remains of the previous housing or other construction than the local pub.There was prefabricated housing in the area of asbestos construction. The local bar 'The Budgie' is famous throughout the city for its availability when other sources are closed due to licensing laws.
