Bradford S. "Brad" Lander is the Council member for the 39th District of the New York City Council. He is a Democrat. The district includes portions of Boerum Hill, Borough Park, Brooklyn Heights, Carroll Gardens, Cobble Hill, Flatbush, Gowanus, Green-Wood Cemetery, Kensington, Park Slope, Prospect Heights, Prospect Park, Prospect-Lefferts Gardens, Red Hook, South Slope, Sunset Park and Windsor Terrace.
