Bruce Foxton (born 1 September 1955) is an English singer, musician, and composer.With Paul Weller, and Rick Buckler he gained worldwide fame as a member of The Jam, one of the most popular and influential acts in the history of rock music; his backing vocals and prominent basslines were the foundation of many of the band's songs, including the hits "Down in the Tube Station at Midnight", "The Eton Rifles", "Going Underground" and "Town Called Malice".
