Charles Elson "Buddy" Roemer III (born October 4, 1943) is an American politician and banker who served as the 52nd Governor of Louisiana from 1988 to 1992, and as a member of the United States House of Representatives from 1981 to 1988.Roemer was a candidate for the presidential nominations of the Republican Party and the Reform Party in 2012.
