CBY is a clear-channel station broadcasting at 990 kHz (AM) from Corner Brook, Newfoundland and Labrador, using a power of 10,000 watts. Owned by the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, it is the main outlet for the CBC's Radio One network in western Newfoundland. Rebroadcaster CBNA St. Anthony, also using 10,000 watts (though a Class B station), covers much of the Great Northern Peninsula on 600 kHz.
