CGS Vigilant was an armed 3rd class cruiser employed as a Canadian Great Lakes Fisheries Protection vessel.She replaced CGS Petrel, which had previously performed these duties. Sold in 1924, she was later chartered by the Customs Preventive Service for East Coast patrols between 1927-29.
