Sir Christopher Hohn KCMG (born 1967) is an English hedge fund manager and philanthropist. He runs the Children's Investment Fund. Its aim was to give a proportion of its profit to help children in developing countries. In the five years from 2006 until 2011, Hohn gave away almost £1 billion. He is known as an activist investor.
