Christopher Phillips (born July 15, 1959) is an American author, educator, and pro-democracy advocate. He is best known for his 2001 book "Socrates Café". Public Radio International called Phillips the "Johnny Appleseed of Philosophy."Phillips's latest book "Constitution Café" was published in August 2011, and strives to spark greater 'constitutional literacy' and civic engagement.
