Christopher "Chris" Tanev (born December 20, 1989) is a Canadian professional ice hockey defenceman who is currently playing for the Vancouver Canucks of the National Hockey League (NHL). Unselected in the NHL Entry Draft, he was signed by the Canucks as a free agent after his freshman year with the Rochester Institute of Technology Tigers.
