CityVille was a casual social city-building game developed by Zynga, and released in December 2010.The game was similar to SimCity Social and FarmVille. The goal was to develop a city by farming, constructing buildings, and collecting rent. CityVille was a freemium game. There was no cost to play, but players had the option of purchasing premium content.A sequel, CityVille 2, was released in November 2012. It was closed down on March 7, 2013.CityVille was shut down on April 30, 2015.
