Colin Trevorrow (born September 13, 1976) is an American film director and screenwriter, known as the director of the indie film Safety Not Guaranteed (2012) and the Jurassic Park sequel, Jurassic World (2015), which he also co-wrote. Trevorrow will also direct the upcoming Star Wars Episode IX, slated for a 2019 release.
