Constantia Maria "Sten" Oomen (born 2 December 1967) is a Dutch author.When Oomen was seven years old, she experienced an out-of-body experience while under general anesthesia for a tonsillectomy. She says that she watched the entire procedure from a distance, and believed for a long time that this was completely normal.
