Daniel H. Geschwind is a professor of human genetics at the David Geffen School of Medicine at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). He also directs the Neurogenetics Program and the Center for Autism Research and Treatment at UCLA, and holds the Gordon and Virginia MacDonald Distinguished Chair of Human Genetics there. He is a cousin of Norman Geschwind.
