David G. Hebert /ɛˈbɛər/ (born 1972, Seattle) is a musicologist and comparative educationist, employed as Professor of Music at the Grieg Academy-Faculty of Education (Bergen University College, Norway), where he leads the Grieg Academy Music Education (GAME) research group. He has contributed to the fields of music education, ethnomusicology, sociomusicology, comparative education, and East Asian Studies.
