Lieutenant General David Holmes Huntoon, Jr., USA completed a 40-year military career serving as the Superintendent of the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, New York. He commanded West Point from July 15, 2010 until July 15, 2013, and retired from the Army on November 1, 2013. During his time in uniform, Huntoon served in infantry, planning, operations, training, strategy, and leader development positions, and commanded organizations from Platoon level to Army Major Command.
