Denis Mamadou Gerhard Cuspert (born October 18, 1975), also known as Abu Talha al-Amani or by his former stage name, Deso Dogg, is a German militant Islamist and former rapper.He ended his rap career after converting to Islam and taking the name Abou Maleeq. He left Germany for Egypt and eventually Syria, where he fought with the jihadist anti-government forces in the Syrian Civil War, under the nom de guerre of Abu Talha Al-Almani (meaning The German Abu Talha).
