Deva Kaushik Katta is an Indian American filmmaker, known for his works exclusively in Telugu cinema. In 2010, he directed Prasthanam, showcased in the Indian Panorama section at International Film Festival of India. The film has also won the Filmfare South Critics Award for Best film and Nandi Award for Best Feature Film (Bronze) in 2010.He holds a Master of Science degree in mechanical engineering and worked as a vehicle crashworthiness expert in General Motors.
