Dimapur-Chumukedima (Pron:/ˌdɪməpʊə ˈtʃʊmʊkədɪmə/) refers to the urban hub centred on Dimapur with suburbs stretching all along the NH 39 from Dimapur up to Chumukedima. It is located in Dimapur district of Nagaland. Chumukedima is the district headquarters of Dimapur district while Dimapur has emerged as the main commercial centre of Nagaland.The last two decades have seen a population boom of Dimapur and continuous settlements have spilled out towards Chumukedima.
