Dmitri Ivanenko (Дми́трий Дми́триевич Иване́нко, Ukrainian: Дми́тро Дми́трович Іване́нко) (July 29, 1904, Poltava, present-day Ukraine – December 30, 1994, Moscow), Professor of Moscow State University (since 1943), made a great contribution to the physical science of the twentieth century, especially to nuclear physics, field theory (physics), and gravitation theory.
