Donna Sheldon is an American politician from the state of Georgia. She was a Republican candidate for Georgia's 10th congressional district to replace Paul Broun. Prior to that, she was a member of the Georgia House of Representatives from 2002-2012.Sheldon announced her resignation from the state House on August 26, 2013 to focus on her campaign for U.S. Congress.She finished 3rd in the race for Georgia's 10th congressional district on May 20, 2014, receiving 15% of the vote.
