Doris Bures (born August 3, 1962) is an Austrian politician. Since September 2014 she has been president of the National Council of Austria. Bures is a member of the Sozialdemokratische Partei Österreichs (SPÖ), has served as Minister for Transport, Innovation and Technology and as Minister for Women, Media and Public Service and was a member of the National Council.Bures attended elementary school and a commercial school.
