The dusky long-tailed cuckoo (Cercococcyx mechowi) is a species of cuckoo in the Cuculidae family.It is found in Angola, Cameroon, Central African Republic, Republic of the Congo, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Ivory Coast, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, Ghana, Guinea, Liberia, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, Tanzania, Togo, and Uganda.The specific epithet honours Friedrich Wilhelm Alexander von Mechow.
