Ederney or Ederny (from Irish: Eadarnaidh, meaning "ambush") is a small village and townland (of 133 acres) in County Fermanagh, Northern Ireland. In the 2001 Census it had a population of 554. Ederney lies in the Glendarragh River Valley close to Lower Lough Erne and Kesh. It is 83 miles (134 km) from Belfast, over 100 miles (160 km) from Dublin and about 16 miles from both Omagh and Enniskillen. Ederney and its hinterland (the Glendarragh Valley area) boast a population of several thousand.
