The Edgewood Academy is a non-profit non-sectarian independent school located in Elmore, Alabama. The total enrollment is around 300 students including preschool through twelfth grade. The school was founded in 1967. Edgewood Academy has been accredited by the Alabama Independent School Association (AISA) since 1974, the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS, and the National Council for Private School Accreditation (NCPSA).
