"Elogium" is the 20th episode (4th in the second season) of the American science fiction television program Star Trek: Voyager. The episode originally aired on September 18, 1995, and tells the story of the Voyager encountering a swarm of space-borne lifeforms which induce a premature mating cycle in Kes (Jennifer Lien).The episode was written by freelancers Jimmy Diggs and Steve J. Kay based on an experience Diggs had in the Navy.
