Emanuel Jose Sanchez (September 21, 1982 – July 23, 2005) was a Puerto Rican jockey competing in American Thoroughbred horse racing.Born in Carolina, Puerto Rico, Sanchez emigrated to the United States where he worked as an exercise rider at Bowie Training Center in Bowie, Maryland and had raced at other Thoroughbred racetracks. In the summer of 2005 he was working as an apprentice jockey at Colonial Downs racetrack in New Kent County, Virginia.
