Estadio Romano (English: Roman Stadium) is a multi-use stadium in Mérida, Spain. It is currently used for football matches and is the home ground of Mérida AD. The stadium holds 14,600 people and opened in 1954.On 9 September 2009, the stadium hosted the Spanish national team as they defeated Estonia 3-0 to qualify for the 2010 FIFA World Cup, which they went on to win.
