F1 Circus (エフワン サーカス) is a series of Formula One-based racing video games developed and published by Nichibutsu starting on the PC Engine in 1990. The word "circus" in the title was meant to be a mistranslation of the word "circuit" (or "circuits") because the pageantry of Formula One racing slightly resembles a circus.
