Final Destination 2 is a 2003 American supernatural horror film directed by David R. Ellis. The screenplay by J. Mackye Gruber and Eric Bress was from a story by Gruber, Bress, and series creator Jeffrey Reddick. It is the sequel to the 2000 film Final Destination and the second installment of the Final Destination film series.After the financial success of Final Destination, New Line Cinema contacted Reddick regarding plans for a sequel.
