Freida Selena Pinto (born 18 October 1984) is an Indian actress and model. Born in Mumbai, Pinto aspired to become an actress from a young age. While attending the St. Xavier's College, Mumbai, she acted in amateur plays. Upon completion of her graduation, she started her career as a model, and worked as a television presenter for a brief phase.
