Gagnoa Department is one of the fifty-eight departments of Côte d'Ivoire, in the Fromager Region.The main city is Gagnoa. The city is located in the department to the southwest of the official capital Yamoussoukro. It is a market town, with a population of just over 100,000 (1995 data), making it the eighth largest city in the country.
