The Gallant Fox Handicap is an American Thoroughbred horse race run annually at the end of December at Aqueduct Racetrack in the Borough of Ozone Park, Queens, New York. An ungraded stakes, it is open to horses age three and older and contested on dirt at a distance of one and five eighths miles. davInaugurated in 1939 at the old Jamaica Racetrack, it is named for Gallant Fox, the second winner of the U.S. Triple Crown in 1930. In 1958, the race was moved to the Aqueduct Racetrack.
