Gatecoin is a bitcoin exchange service based in Hong Kong, founded in July 2013 by a former investment banker, Aurélien Menant. The company is the only bitcoin company being incubated by the Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation, a statutory body of the Hong Kong Government. Gatecoin is also incubated by the Tuspark business park in Nanjing.As of the end of Q1 2015, Gatecoin had raised US$500,000 in funding from Angel investor.
