Gavin Michael Thomas (born 22 October 1977) is a former Welsh international rugby union flanker, who was capped more than 20 times for Wales. He played his club rugby for Tondu, Bridgend, Bath, the Ospreys, the Scarlets and the Newport Gwent Dragons.Thomas made his senior international debut for Wales on 10 June 2001 against Japan, and was capped on another six occasions that year. He then played in the 2002 Six Nations, as well as playing Tests against South Africa and Romania.
