George Thomas McDermott (October 21, 1886 – January 19, 1937) was a United States federal judge.Born in Winfield, Kansas, McDermott received a Ph.B. from the University of Chicago in 1908 and a J.D. from the University of Chicago Law School in 1909. He was in private practice in Topeka, Kansas from 1910 to 1917. He was in the United States Army Lieutenant from 1917 to 1919. He was in private practice in Topeka, Kansas from 1919 to 1928.
