Geranium potentilloides is a species of geranium known by the common name cinquefoil geranium. It is native to the eastern half of Australia, where it is widespread, as well as New Zealand, and Indonesia. It is also present in the San Francisco Bay Area in the United States, where it is an introduced species. It is a plant of several woodland, grassland, and forest habitat types.
