Grant Andrew Long (born March 12, 1966) is a retired American professional basketball player. He played over 1,000 NBA games over a 15-year career.A 6'9" forward from Eastern Michigan University, Long was selected with the 33rd pick of the 1988 NBA Draft by the Miami Heat. Long played six seasons for the Heat, earning a reputation for his aggressive defense and strong rebounding.
