Gregory J. Read is an Australian filmmaker.Read has written, directed, produced, and edited the critically acclaimed documentaries Spirits of the Carnival (1995), Tides of Passage (1994), and Photographers of Australia: Dupain, Sievers, Moore (1992). Although Like Minds was Read's directorial feature film début, since the late '90s he has assisted in the production of several low-budget Australian features.
