Groot Aub (German: Groß Aub) is a village located approximately 60 km south of Windhoek, in the Hardap Region of Namibia. It is the district capital of the Windhoek Rural electoral constituency.Groot Aub is a poor community which consists of about 6,000 inhabitants of which most are small-scale farmers and pensioners. Having access to this land is the primary source of livelihood for the people in this community.Groot Aub has experienced major development in the last few years.
