Higashihiroshima (東広島市, Higashihiroshima-shi) is a city located in Hiroshima Prefecture, Japan.As of June 30, 2011 the city has an estimated population of 183,834, with 78,525 households and a population density of 289.36 persons per km². The total area is 635.32 km².Higashihiroshima is a university town of Hiroshima University.
