Hisar Division is one of the four divisions of Haryana State of India. The division comprises the districts of Bhiwani, Fatehabad, Hisar, Jind and Sirsa.It is named after the city Hisar which was a fort in the late 10th century. The Gujri Mehel fort can still be visited. It has a network of underground tunnels through which the local Rajah could escape.
