Ho Ping (何平, pinyin: Hé Píng was born in 1958 in Hsinchu, Taiwan, Republic of China he's a film director. He graduated from Tunghai University of Chemical Engineering. Because of his interest in art and painting, he studied film making in the US after graduating. In 1987, he got an MFA degree of Syracuse University. And he went back to Taiwan to do film making.
