It was written by Barry Gibb .The Gibb brothers sing harmony together on the opening lines of each verse with Robin Gibb taking the lead for the remainder.The song's style was similar to that of the Beatles' 1963 single track "This Boy"as well as echoing that group's early harmony style from tracks such as "Ask Me Why" and "Misery".
